Bradford Teaching Hospitals

The Hepatitis C service at Bradford Teaching Hospitals was established in 2005. The service has expanded and now has four Clinical Nurse Specialists, a Hepatology Pharmacist and two Consultant Hepatologists.

Our outreach service within Bradford Drug and Alcohol services was set up in 2009, and we continue to work in close collaboration with Drug and Alcohol Service providers to encourage micro elimination of Hepatitis C. We also provide additional outreach services within a Social Enterprise GP practice in Bradford City Centre that focuses on meeting the needs of vulnerable patients. The Clinical Nurse Specialists provide support for patients under the care of Mental Health Services in Bradford, through their Hepatitis C treatment in both in-patient and Dual Diagnosis Clinic settings.

Referrals are received from Primary Care, providers of Drug and Alcohol, Sexual Health and Mental Health Services. 

• Primary Care referrals should be sent to the Referral Booking Service at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
• Referrals from Drug and Alcohol Services are received and these are booked into clinics accordingly.

Airedale NHS Foundation Trust

The Hepatitis C service at Airedale General Hospital receives referrals from Primary Care, Drug, Alcohol and Sexual Health services.

Referrals

• Drug, Alcohol and Sexual Health services please complete the Keighley CGL – Hepatitis C Referral Form and emailing it to the referral bookings team at [email protected]
• Sexual Health and Primary Care referrals should be sent to the Referral Booking Service at Airedale General Hospital
