As part of West Yorkshire Liver Care ODN hepatitis C elimination initiatives and Community Liver Health Check programmes we engage and work with South Asian communities in West Yorkshire.
Through this initiative we are building relationships with community leaders in Mosques, Gurdwaras, Temples and South Asian community organisations, to raise awareness about liver health and offers the services of our Community Liver Health Checks team for events in the local area.
We have developed our website to ensure it is accessible to everyone by providing the facilities to translate the information visible on the website into different languages including Urdu, Punjabi and Gujarati.
We also have patient stories, videos and general information about hepatitis C and liver health checks.
