To raise awareness of Hepatitis C and the Hepatitis C home testing portal, West Yorkshire Liver Care ODN ran two media campaigns in July 2024.
The first was developed using the testing portal material and displayed on the rear of buses operated by First Bus (West Yorkshire) and Arriva (Yorkshire) that covered the ODN area.
Around 1,547,000 people saw the bus campaign at least 3 times over the course of the month in various locations across the region.
The second campaign, running simultaneously, was a radio advert commissioned jointly with South Yorkshire Hepatitis C Operational Delivery Network on radio station Capital Yorkshire (South & West).
The 30 second clip was played 113 over the 4-week period and was heard by approximately 653,000 around 8 times.
